San Diego...."The Greatest City in the World"

I will always remember and love the city of San Diego.

Since I have been here in LA for the past month, I have had the pleasure to visit San Diego a hand full of times. I don't know if I have mentioned it anywhere but San Diego is the first city I have ever laid my eyes on. I was born there and lived there until I was 5 years old. My family visited for a number of years after, but not until recently have I been able to truly enjoy it. I've gotten to go see our old house, favorite restaurants, and beaches. Overall...I just like it there.

But now....since last night, I have a whole new reason to remember San Diego. I had the pleasure of seeing my good friend, whom I think you all know, rock an arena! I recommend it, it's a TRIP. After the show I went back to the meet and greet and got to see him do his thing with the fans. But the craziest part of the whole night was when we walked out of the arena towards the busses. Seven tour busses lined up and hundreds of screaming people. Probably the craziest site I have ever seen, in person.

Anyways, that experience, seeing Dave do his thing on that scale, will forever be ingrained in my head when I think about San Diego. All of his fans are letting him do the thing he loves to do. It's an amazing thing...

Hi everyone! I joined this community a while ago and was sort of hesitant to contribute because everyone is so talented and amazing that it was all sort of overwhelming. With the concert soon approaching, I finally decided that it would be very interesting to share with you all my fan music video that I created along with my sister of our favourite Cookie. It took me a while to make this video because I was still reeling in the fact that YouTube removed my other fan music video, "Time of My Life". This one sort of plays an homage of that video though they are both different.

Since David Cook auditioned with Bon Jovi, I thought I'd bring it back full circle and create a fan music video of the best of David with Bon Jovi's "Welcome To Wherever You Are" tune off his Have A Nice Day album.

Local newspaper blogger's review of Glendale show

This reviewer is an Archie fan and disses DC slightly in the end of the review. Oh well. Maybe he doesn't get that DC was doing what rock stars do.

Mods, maybe other reviews from local media outlets could be added to this post as a new comment, just to reduce the post count on this concert? Just a thought.

"I dig David Cook," says singer Austin Winkler, a native of Oklahoma City, where Cook has lived for the past few years. "He shows that the world is starving for a little bit of rock-n-roll. Hopefully we can write some tunes for him."

According to Hinder, who were in the audience for this year's Idol finale and met the winner briefly that night, the admiration is mutual. "I heard he's a fan," Winkler tells EW.com. "I'm sure we'll cross paths."
